Ririe Days Archery Competition Details:
Download Event Poster: Ririe Days Archery Shootout!
When: Saturday July 18th, 2009
Time: The first arrows fly at 11:00 am; all registrations must be completed and paid for by 10:45 am. No late registrations will be accepted, no exceptions.
Where: Ririe Fairgrounds (see map here)
Who: All are invited.
Divisions: Recurve, Bowhunter, & Open
Targets: 3D Animal Targets
Cost: $15 per person, per division.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the winner of each division. In addition, the top 5 place finishers* in each division will be invited to participate in the Novelty Shoot immediately following the competition for a chance to win $500**.
*While an entrant may enter in multiple divisions, he/she may only qualify once for the Novelty shoot. In the event that an entrant qualifies in the top 5 in more than one division, only the first event that he/she qualified in will count towards his/her entrance into the novelty shoot. The next highest ranking shooter in the subsequent events will then qualify for top 5 placement and subsequent entrance into the Novelty Shoot.
In the even that multiple entrants hit the target for the Novelty Shoot, a shoot off will ensue. The next most accurate shot (as judged by Downwind Archery) in the following round will win the $500 prize. In the event that no entrant hits the Novelty Shoot target, the $500 cash prize will be held over and added to next year's Novelty Shoot Cash Prize. The Novelty Shoot is designed to be a difficult shot, but obtainable for an experienced shooter (or lucky inexperienced shooter).
**We must have at least 15 total paid participants in order to offer the $500 Cash Prize for the Novelty Shoot. If there are fewer than 15 participants the $500 Cash Prize will rollover into next year's prize money.
The judge(s) with Downwind Archery will have the final say on all scoring/judging matters.
Absolutely no refunds, for any reason.
